Hello neighbors, It's Brad here at etrailer. And today I will be taking a look, and installing the Hopkins Bed Mount Wiring Kit. And this is gonna be on a 2022 Ram 3500. If you've ever towed a gooseneck or a fifth wheel, you generally have the electrical connection that you're gonna to need to plug in. And instead of having to open up your tailgate or run a wire over that, you can fix that by putting an in-bed wiring kit. And it's very simple, it ties into your factory 7-way. more

Bargman Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2011 Ram 3500- Video
Today on our 2011 Ram 3500 we're going to be installing Bargman's fifth wheel goose neck 90 degree wiring harness with 7-pole trailer connector.This 90 degree harness is going to give you a 7-pole connector inside your truck bed for hassle free hook up of your fifth wheel or goose neck trailer. What's great about this harness is that there's no cutting or slicing required, it simply plugs in line with your existing 7-pole connector. Speaker 1: Today on this 2018 Ram 3500 we're going to be having a look at and showing you how to install the Curt 5th Wheel or Goose Neck custom wiring harness with a seven pole connector, part number C56000. Here's what our set in the way wiring harness looks like installed. The reason you're going to want this is because this saves you time and effort when hooking up to your goose neck or fifth wheel trailer. You don't have to worry about draping a cable over your tailgate anymore when you're towing your trailer. This allows you to easily plug it in. We have a nice spring loaded door right here which will secure our wiring into place. more

Hopkins Endurance Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Ram 3500- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2012 Ram 3500 we'll be having a look at and installing the Hopkins Endurance fifth wheel gooseneck 90-degree wiring harness with seven-pole plug. Part number 41157. Here's what our Hopkins seven-way harness looks like installed. We have a nice door here which covers our connector up when it's not in use. There's a foam gasket on the inside that will help keep the elements and any dirt and debris from entering, potentially causing corrosion or a short circuit in our socket. Unlike a lot of other seven-ways on the market, this door opens more than 180 degrees, making it really easy for us to plug our wiring harness into.Now underneath is a little bit wider here. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2017 Ram 3500- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Ram 3500, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Bargman nine foot long fifth wheel and gooseneck 90 degree wiring harness, designed for the factory seven pole plug. Part number is 50-97-410.This additional fifth wheel wiring harness is going to be the perfect solution for adding a T connector between the already existing seven pole plug on the back of your truck. You can see we've got a good length of wire where we can run that up to an area, we're going to use this area here, accessible in our bed to make connections with fifth wheels and goosenecks much simpler.As you can see, our seven pole plug mounts nicely inside the bed of the truck. This gives us an excellent connection point for the fifth wheels and goosenecks so we don't have to drag them back to the back of the truck and get them plugged in. Inside of the cap we've got a rubber gasket all the way around that seals around this edge. It's going to prevent moisture and dust from getting inside. more

Today on our 2017 Ram 3500 we'll be installing the Tow Ready fifth wheel or goose neck wiring harness for seven pole. Part number 20110. Here's where a wiring harness looks like installed. As you can see it's nice clean look. It'll allow us to easily hook up to our goose neck or fifth wheel trailer without having any wires dangling below our truck, possibly getting it damaged when the trailer turns. Here's what a wiring kit consists of. We have our seven way. That's just like the seven way that's on the bumper of our vehicle except this will allow us to put it in the bed of our truck so we can hook our goose neck or fifth wheel wiring easily. more

Curt 5th Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Ram 3500- Video
Today on our 2014 Ram 3500, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the curt 5th wheel gooseneck custom wiring harness with seven pole connector, part number C56070. Here's what our wiring harness is going to look like once it's installed in the truck. As you can see, it's going to provide us seven way power here in the bed of the truck so it's easier to use with your gooseneck or 5th wheel trailer. That way you don't have to take your wiring harness and drape it down over the tailgate of the truck but rather you can plug it in right here in the bed. The seven way comes with a nice spring-loaded lid that's going to help keep moisture out. It features seven feet of wire, so you'll have pretty good options as to where you want to mount your new seven way connector in the bed. It tees 00:00:44 directly into the factory seven way harness at the back of the truck. more

Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Ram 3500- Video
Today in our 2016 Ram 3500 we will be taking a look at and installing the Draw-tite 5th wheel gooseneck wiring harness 7 pole, part number 20110. Here's what it looks like once it's installed. As you can see it's got a nice weather tight cover that's going to cover up our plug. It does come with a 7 1/2 foot cable so you can run this pretty much any place you'd like on the inside of your bed depending on your needs. You are going to be able to retain your factory set 7 pole plug so you have use of the one on your rear bumper and you also have the one up inside your bed for your gooseneck or 5th wheel trailer. Now lets go ahead and show you how to install it. Let's look at what our kits going to consist of; it's going to be our harness that's going to T into our factory harness, our 7 pole plug, some zip ties, some self taping screws and what we are going to need to install it is a 2 inch hole saw, a quarter inch drill driver, a file, and a pair of side cutters to cut off the excess from our zip ties. The first thing you want to do is to determine the location you want to mount it. more

Hopkins Endurance Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2013 Ram 3500- Video
Today on our 2013 Ram 3500, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Hopkins Endurance 5th wheel/gooseneck 90-degree wiring harness with a 7-pole plug, Part Number 41157. The Endurance series plugs feature an oversized hinge and a lid that opens 180 degrees. What's good about this is you still have use of your factory 7-way connector and you have one inside your bed. It's got a nice weather-tight seal on the inside to keep out all the moisture. This is what it looks like installed. Now let's show you how to install it. Our kit does come with a 10-foot cable, so you can pretty much locate it anywhere you want in your bed. It has a 90-degree end so it will fit up inside your bed rail in this cavity, and it's got a pass-through so you can plug it into your factory 7-way connector with no cutting of the wiring. To begin our installation, we're going to go and find our 7-way plug. more

Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Ram 3500- Video
Today on our 2014 Ram 3500 we'll be installing the Bargman 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-degree Wiring Harness with 7-pole plug, part number 54701-003. Now to begin our install, we'll go ahead and move into the pickup bed and find a mounting location for our 7-pole connector. Here for our 7-blade connector, we're going to install it on the driver's side behind the wheel well. We'll take the 7-blade connector, I'm going to go just inside the indention here that will help protect the connector if you carry rear cargo. Once we find our location, we can go ahead and drill it out. We'll use a 2-inch hole saw to drill out large enough to get the connectors through and mount the 7-pole here in the truck bed. Now once we have our hole made, we'll go ahead and feed our plugs through it. more

Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Ram 3500- Video
Today on our 2012 Ram 3500 with an 8' pick up bed we're going to be installing the Bargman 90-Degree 7-way, 7-pole install kit for adding to an existing 7-pole wiring on the vehicle. Part number 54701-003. To being our install we're going to start in the pick up bed and find a suitable location for our new 7-pole plug. We're going to install ours here, behind the wheel well on the driver side. To do so we'll need to first drill a pilot hole. We'll then open that pilot hole up with a 2" hole saw, as per the instructions. Now with the pilot hole drilled out we'll bring in our 2" hole saw. Our new Bargman 7-blade Wiring Harness is a complete kit that's already assembled. more

Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Ram 3500- Video
Today, in this 2014 Ram 3500 Crew Cab, we're going to install Part Number PK11893-11932. This is the Pollak 5th Wheel and Gooseneck T-Connector With a 7-Pole Connector pole or trailer. Now, to make things easy for our wiring and to install our T-connector, we'll go ahead and remove the spare tire. First we'll go ahead and do a little bit of assembly for our connection. These wires do not connect into the sockets, so we have to do that. It's not too bad. We've got to put them in the correct order, and the easiest way that I know of, is simply copy the other plug. more
